| Events listed as FCA-MAR are organized by club members who volunteer without payment to organize and conduct the event. They are reimbursed for the reasonable expenses they incur which are directly related to organizing and conducting the event. The primary organizer(s), usually one or two persons, can participate in the event without paying the event fee, if there is one. | |

| FCA-MAR Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum by Dulles International Airport, VA. Fast planes and Ferraris sets the theme of this event. Gather in the parking lot at the Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum at 10:15 a.m. (gates open at 10:00). Check out www.nasm.si.edu/udvarhazy for directions and general museum info. We'll have a guided tour from 10:30 to 11:45, then Bill Ebert will give a short presentation on space suits and the hazards of living in space - the kids love this! We'll do lunch and then the FCA-MAR is treating all participants to an IMAX presentation. Afterward, you're free to roam the museum or have a guided tour on the history of aircraft engines. Your only cost will be parking ($15 per car) and lunch which is pay-as-you-go. Make it a family affair! The Meet includes the internationally recognized FCA Concours d'Elegance, a road rally, three days of racetrack activities, a vendor market (Mercato di Ferrari), seminars, receptions, charity auction and banquet with award presentations. | Central States Region www.fca2009.org | |
| FCA-MAR West Virginia High Tour, Snowshoe Resort, WV. Our adventure in 2009 will feature "Food, Jazz, Wine and Coal." The Food, Jazz and Wine part is easy. Check out this link at Snowshoe: snowshoemtn.com/wine+and+jazz The Coal part is the "Adventure" twist. We'll tour a real underground coal mine in Beckley, WV. Check out: beckleymine.com/coal_overview This will blow you away . . . into a mine that was active from late 1800 to 1953.The tour guides did this type of grueling work in WV for decades. The overall plan is for everyone to gather at the top of the mountain at Snowshoe Ski Resort, WV around 1:00 Friday, the 7th. We'll have lunch and do optional activities in and around the village that afternoon, then dinner and fun on the mountaintop that evening. Saturday we go to Beckley for the coal mine "experience." Be prepared to enjoy incredible roads and scenery going to and from Beckley through state and national forests -- Ferrari Heaven. Enjoy exquisite dining, jazz and wine on the mountaintop at Snowshoe Sat. evening. Sunday A.M. there will be more local adventure options after breakfast, e.g., ATV and Segway tours. Our limit is 20 cars. Deadline for registration is July 23rd. This event always sells out. | FCA-MAR Track Event at New Jersey Motorsports Park, Millville, NJ. Just a heads-up for planning purposes: The Mid-Atlantic, Empire State and Penn-Jersey Regions have coordinated on renting the New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) Lightning and Thunderbolt Tracks on Wed, Sep 30 (Thunderbolt) and Thur, Oct 1 (Lightning).This is kind of a "Coming Attraction" for the 2010 FCA Annual Meet which will be held Sep 29 to Oct 2, 2010 at NJMP in Millville, NJ. Btw, NJMP has a great website with their event schedule and detailed info on both tracks at www.njmotorsportspark.com. The primary sponsor of our near-term 2-day event is Ferrari of Central NJ. All FCA members are invited and all Ferrari dealers and independents are encouraged to bring their rigs and their track clients and get some great exposure to all Ferrari enthusiasts. In other words, market your products and services as you wish. We, the FCA Regions in this area, intend to make NJMP one of our prime track venues. Come and enjoy!
